Please join us on Thursday, May 29 from 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit (475 E Waterfront Dr, Homestead, PA 15120) for the next Jefferson Community Collaborative meeting: Stronger Together – Advancing Shared Capacity Through Nonprofit Networking & Collaboration.
As nonprofits face increasing resource constraints, how can we leverage networks to strengthen our collective capacity? Based on your feedback, this convening is an opportunity to make meaningful connections and explore ways to reduce operational costs through collaboration.
During the meeting, you’ll discuss collaborative strategies with peers in your chosen focus area to improve efficiency, support sustainability, and strengthen collective impact:
- Client Transportation – Collaborative approaches to getting clients to services, appointments, or programs
- Financial Management – Consolidated accounting, payroll, and budgeting systems
- Food Distribution – Coordinated sourcing, storage, and delivery of food and nutrition-related services
- Grant Writing & Reporting – Shared capacity for securing and managing grant funding
- Shared HR Support – Centralized HR services such as hiring, staffing, benefits administration, and compliance
- Shared IT Support – Joint tech infrastructure and support for secure, efficient operations
- Shared Office Space – Co-located workspaces or shared administrative infrastructure to reduce overhead
- Shared Purchasing – Group buying power to lower costs on supplies, equipment, and services
In addition, you’ll also be invited to:
- Update or create your organization’s profile in the Jefferson Community Directory to grow your network and connect with peers doing similar work.
- Apply to join the Vision Council, a leadership group that advises on the three pillars of the Jefferson Regional Foundation’s work: convening, community-driven data, and grantmaking.
