Organizational Capacity-Building for Community Impact
Creating a more connected Jefferson region of 100+ changemakers with frequent opportunities to gather, share, and learn
Launching the Jefferson Community Directory Resource Guide, which includes contact information for 120+ qualified service providers in the Jefferson Region to encourage referrals and networking
Equipping local organizations with resources and opportunities to promote increased understanding of the region and their work
Developing non-profit staff by providing opportunities for skill-development and learning sessions
Mental & Behavioral Health
Trained nearly 1,000 People in Mental Health First Aid
Convened opioid partners to discuss Jefferson Area needs
Civic & Policy Engagement
Engaged 1,000+ participants in conversations to strengthen their community through the inaugural 2018 Around the Table South Initiative
Mobilized 70 champion organizations in achieving a fair and accurate 2020 Census count
Offered opportunities for legislative engagement through legislative panel discussions and trainings
Provided advocacy alerts to keep organizations updated on key civic engagement campaigns and issues
Workforce Development
Supporting a strong and skilled nonprofit workforce by providing capacity-building and skill development opportunities to more than 120 local organizations
Leveraging Collaborative partners to survey 208 local workers and job-seekers to assess needs and offer next steps to continue supporting a strong Jefferson Area Workforce
Participated in a community-wide transportation survey to define regional issues and work towards creative solutions
