Program Description:
The mission of Healthy Start is to improve maternal and child health and to reduce poor birth outcomes and infant mortality in Allegheny County. We support birthing people and their families through a range of services, from doula care and home visiting to peer support, breastfeeding resources, youth development, and fatherhood programming. We also lead advocacy and community health initiatives to advance birth equity across our region.
