Jefferson Area Program Address: Jefferson Hospital, 565 Coal Valley Road, Clairton, PA 15025. NurturePA: Offers a free and confidential text-based mentoring program to new parents who deliver their baby at Jefferson and other local Hospitals. Program recruits and trains volunteer mentors from the community. NurturePA mentors provide important parenting information and strategies, answer questions as they come up, refer to other resources as needed, and offer a shoulder to lean on during the first three years of a child’s life. We support moms so they can nurture their babies. NurturePA is available to new or expecting parents, or existing parents of a child up to age two. Parents can enroll directly on our website at http://nurturepa.org/signup/nurture-program/, or by talking to a NurturePA representative at the hospital where they deliver.
