Program Description

Mission Statement: Tickets for Kids provides at-risk children with experiences that inspire hope, dreams, and achievements for a lifetime.

Tickets for KidsĀ® Charities (TFK) is a national 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to enriching the lives of underserved children and their families by offering no-cost access to cultural and community enrichment opportunities.

At Ticket for Kids, we partner with museums, science centers, local theaters, zoos, sports teams, and recreational centers to create space for kids who need access to these experiences the most. Tickets are donated by these venues and placed through a network of nonprofit and social service agencies and school partners who are vetted, trained, and report back on how the tickets are used and their impact. Youth partners utilize the opportunities to incentivize participation in their programs, advance educational outcomes, and celebrate behavioral milestones. Each ticket is also a tool that advances the goals of our youth-serving partners.

Programs:
Ticket Distribution Program:
TFK partners with organizations and schools that serve under-resourced children to supplement their existing programming with ticketed experiences. These programs can include residential, mentoring, behavioral health counseling, after-school programs, summer day camps, shelters, community centers, affordable housing communities, and more. There is no cost for an agency or school to participate in our program.

TFK ConnectAbility:
The TFK ConnectAbility Program seeks to create and expand its partnerships with ticket providers and social service agencies that serve children, youth, and young adults up to the age of 25 with developmental disabilities. Participating agencies must be in Western PA. Our goal is to provide young people facing varying degrees of challenges with equitable access to inclusive, enriching activities and events. By doing so, we hope that children with developmental disabilities are inspired to see a future without limits and have breakthroughs of their own.
