Women for a Healthy Environment is a nonprofit organization that addresses environmental exposures that impact public health, with a special focus on providing resources to environmental justice communities. Through community programming and technical assistance, we focus on creating Healthy Homes, Healthy Schools, Healthy Early Learning Centers, and data-driven Health Policy to help keep our communities across Southwestern PA and the larger Commonwealth of Pennsylvania healthy. WHE provides many programs at no cost to communities, including Healthy Homes assessments, eco-healthy cleaning supplies, lead and radon testing and remediation, environmental health educational curriculum, and more!
