Safe Space Café

Connect. Reflect. Learn.

The Safe Space Café is an informal, in-person gathering for nonprofit partners to engage in open, trauma-informed dialogue that centers on belonging and inclusion. Led by the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Racial Justice Action Team, the Café is grounded in psychological safety and mutual respect. It offers a space to share lived experiences, reflect on the personal and professional impacts of community-based work, and learn from one another. The goal of nonprofit partners who lead these discussions is to offer opportunities to engage with care and discretion. Participation is not tied to funding decisions.
