Community Rules for the Jefferson Community Directory and Collaborative Message Board
The Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) has issued guidance to help safeguard vulnerable residents in response to the Maroon Air Quality Alert:
- Remain indoors as much as possible
- Reduce physical activity to limit exposure to outdoor air
- Keep indoor air particle levels low
- Direct anyone without air conditioning to air‑conditioned public spaces or designated cooling centers
To locate a cooling center, residents can call 211 or visit southwest.pa211.org/summer-resources.
