Safe Space Café
Following the strong engagement and interest from our inaugural Safe Space Café and recent Jefferson Community Collaborative meeting, we are excited to continue the conversation by inviting you to our next session, focused on equitable hiring practices led by the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Racial Justice Action Team.
The Safe Space Café is an informal, in-person space for nonprofit partners to connect and engage in open dialogue around equity. Grounded in psychological safety and respect, the Café offers time to share lived experiences, reflect on the personal and professional impacts of community-based work, and learn from one another. Conversations are intended to remain within the group, and participation is not connected to funding decisions.
