Program Description

CASA of Allegheny County trains volunteers to advocate for children who are in Family Court due to abuse or neglect by a parent or caregiver. The volunteer advocates make life-changing recommendations in the best interests of the child for their safety and well-being, plus act as the Court’s “eyes and ears” and are a trusted adult for the child.
