Program Description

Familylinks is one of the area’s largest and most comprehensive human service providers. Serving the most vulnerable members of our community, Familylinks provides services in mental health, substance use, service coordination, emergency shelter, supportive housing, senior care, and more. Annually, Familylinks serves 11,000+ individuals throughout 26 Pennsylvania counties.

Familylinks offers 20+ programs, and all are available to individuals in the Jefferson footprint. To highlight a few:

Community Health Worker: Improve health outcomes for individuals who face significant health disparities by increasing their access to critical health information, healthcare services, and community resources related to key social determinants of health. Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA): Therapeutic services with autism ages 2 to 21 and their families. ABA provides small group interventions in a clinic setting located in the South Hills. Email autismservices@familylinks.org for more information.

Options Care Management: Helps older adults in the southwestern region of Allegheny County to remain as independent as possible by providing referrals to ensure individuals have access to needed services. Serves adults aged 60 and older. Email options@familylinks.org for more information.

Downtown Outreach Center and Shelter: Provides comprehensive emergency shelter to young adults experiencing homelessness. Staff work with each individual to ensure their medical, behavioral health, and basic needs are addressed. No referral needed. Email docs@familylinks.org for more information.
