Maple Unified Student Academy is a nonprofit committed to providing high-quality preschool, after-school, and summer camp programming. MUSA is rooted in the community, building strong foundations that support lifelong success. MUSA started in Homestead in 1963 as the Methodist Union of Social Agencies, and values safe, inclusive, high-quality programming that makes learning fun!

MUSA operates affordable preschool programs for ages 3-5 and summer camp programs for ages 5-12 at the Steel Valley Council of Governments building in Homestead. There is no geographic restriction for our services. MUSA also operates after-school programs within Barrett and Park Elementary Schools during the academic year, with many scholarships available. All MUSA programs are state-licensed and rated as 4-star facilities by the KEYSTONE STARS system (the highest quality designation given in the state of PA).
