Program Description

Sisters Place provides opportunities for families and individuals to overcome poverty and homelessness through empowerment, housing, wellness and personal and professional advancement services.

Safe Space at Sisters Place: Through our Safe Space we provide drop-in, informal mental health support based on the interests and needs of individuals and families in the community who are seeking connection and access to resources and referrals. Drop-in hours: 10am-2pm Monday-Friday.

Sunrise Supportive Housing Program: Provides housing and supportive services to families who are experiencing homelessness. Families are referred to us who are street or chronically homeless and a member has a disability. Referrals for housing come from Allegheny County, Department of Human Services’ coordinated intake system, Allegheny Link: 1-866-730-2368
