To support the Jefferson Votes Initiative, the Jefferson Regional Foundation in conjunction with the Voter Engagement Task Force of the Civic and Policy Engagement Action Team, has created a one-stop-shop webpage of information around voting in Pennsylvania, a toolkit of resources to utilize in your voter engagement efforts, workshops to train organizations around voter engagement, and mini-grant opportunities up to $1,000 for organizations that participate in this nonpartisan work. Below, is a sample roadmap for what your organizational participation might look like:
- Step 1 – Sign Up: Join fellow Collaborative organizations and sign up as a Voter Engagement Champion. With 22 organizations and counting, you will not only have support from member organizations but also the Jefferson Regional Foundation in your voter engagement efforts.
- Step 2 – Share: Utilize the Jefferson Votes Toolkit as an essential element of this nonpartisan initiative. Whether it’s sharing Election Guides or Pledge Cards at your front desk or sending out voter engagement messaging using our sample email communications or social media, these ready-to-use materials are easily downloadable and can assist with your voter engagement efforts.
- Step 3 – Apply: Mini-grants are available to support the work that your organization is doing around voter engagement. Decide what qualifying options make the most sense for your organization to pursue and receive funding for engaging in these efforts with your constituents and community partners.
- Step 4 – Learn: As part of the Jefferson Votes Lunch and Learn Series, we will be hosting workshops to educate organizations around voter engagement. Please save the dates for our upcoming workshops below:
