Methodist Union of Social Agencies (MUSA) is increasing full year engagement and enhancing the quality of affordable, out-of-school time programming for low-income youth and families. MUSA’s Little Lambs Learning Center, a before school program, two after school programs, and a summer program will serve 130 youth and families from Homestead, West Homestead, Munhall, West Mifflin, Duquesne, McKeesport and surrounding communities in the coming year. With warmer months approaching quickly, MUSA’s Summer Day Camp will soon be underway. The day camp:
- Begins the second week of June and ends the third week of August.
- Employs a STEM-based curriculum that allows for higher information retention between school years.
- Strives to help prevent students from falling behind over the summer to ensure success during the following school year.
- Provides exciting and fun enrichment activities, three nutritious meals each day, and field trips every Friday to participants.
